Pupil Premium grants cover number of children who are eligible to receive free school meals and those who are Looked After (e.g. foster care). This information indicates the levels of need within the school. Schools are required to publish information on how they choose to spend this government funding and how they expect it to benefit the pupils in their care.
Our pupil premium children are encouraged to reach their full potential including their readiness to learn with some needing a more individual holistic approach to learning, hemce training for staff to access our Forest School and for play and counselling therapy for others. The school also funds families towards purchase of school uniform, trips including the Y6 residential and free membership of our breakfast club ensuring that children receive the correct nutrition before school starts.
