St Thomas- Collective worship 15.01.20
For this weeks collective worship the children decided on the theme of ‘Giving’. Our worship area was decorated with blue cloth, a candle, a bible, money, clothes, food and water. These were all our symbols of ‘Giving’.
The children used the bible story ‘Jesus feeding the 5000’ to read about how Jesus had the skill of giving to others.
For their task they decided to role play a time of giving to someone.
For our final reflection we sang ‘Give me oil in my lamp’.
The children really enjoyed worshiping around this theme.
